Getting a permanent bracelet welded onto your wrist involves a straightforward and safe process:
Just walk in anytime during normal business hours. No appointment needed.
Chain Selection: Upon arrival, choose from a variety of chains, typically available in materials like sterling silver, gold-filled, or solid gold. Many jewelers also offer charms or connectors to personalize your bracelet.
Custom Fitting: The jeweler will measure your wrist to ensure the bracelet fits comfortably—not too tight or too loose. This step is crucial for both comfort and durability.
Welding Process: Using a specialized welding device, the jeweler will weld a jump ring the ends of the chain together around your wrist/ankle or neck. This process is quick, typically taking just a few minutes, and is painless. Protective measures, such as placing a barrier between your skin and the welding point, are used to ensure safety.
Final Inspection: After welding, the jeweler will inspect the bracelet to ensure the weld is secure and the fit is perfect.
The entire process usually takes between 5-10 minutes. Permanent bracelets are designed to be worn continuously, symbolizing lasting connections or personal milestones. If you ever need to remove the bracelet, it can be carefully cut at the welded link and, in many cases, re-welded at a later date if needed..
