Stainless steel
This may be an unpopular opinion, but stainless steel has no place in our permanent jewelry selection.
Here’s why: we want your bracelet to last, but we also want it to give way if it gets caught.
We choose gold filled and sterling silver chains with that in mind. The chain’s thickness, links and connection all matter.
Stainless steel chains can be too strong for that purpose and may require specialty cutters for removal. Needing a tool you might not have when you need your jewelry off makes us uncomfortable.
For us, durability should never come at the expense of being able to remove your jewelry.
We love making it permanent. We don’t mean indestructible.
